Love reading reactions of when we first signed him. Oh how that positivity has evaporated away.

Ogrady will look good. When CMS is fit and back.

CMS has the power from just being on the pitch to make COG run faster, have a better first tough and up his all round technical ability?

If only CMS could do all that for himself first......

Find it hard to judge how Baldock or O'Grady are in front of goal as I've only seen each of them have about 1/2 shots...

I'd imagine the difference can be put down to the club signing a 15 goal striker verses signing a player who would seem incapable of scoring 15 goals.

On that note have we been stitched, do Barnsley have a new potent striker called Grady O'Christopher.
Maybe we're the victim of an Ali Daei style sting.

I know he's minted and all that but it must still hurt TB when he has to shell out HALF A MILLION POUNDS on a player like COG who then disappears after a couple of months...

Plus signing on and Agents fees, I bet it was close to £1 mill in the end. I just hope we are clawing some of that back with the loan deal.

Sorry for not wading through this lot to find an answer that may not even have been posted.

Q - Is Chris O'Grady the Albion's 6th biggest transfer spend?
Ulloa, CMS, Baldock, Buckley, Stockdale. then O'Grady

While talking about Baldock with GingerBeerMan on the Ulloa thread, strength of buy due to money spent, came up.
(Baldock was the main target because he's one of our biggest ever transfers)

This then leads me onto another question.
I did actually try and 'research' this myself, with google coughing up these 2 sites first and second:-

http://www.transferleague.co.uk/football-transfers/brighton-and-hove-albion-transfers.html
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/brighton-amp-hove-albion/startseite/verein/1237

Q - Why the hell would you put the time and effort in creating such sites only to get just about every fact wrong?

transfermarkt is as worthwhile a reference site as football rumours. It's just off the top of someone's head, any of us could do as well and many could do better.
