Didn't cut it with Aldershot this year in the conference
Is up there with OGH in terms of effort, but never really looks like scoring
Uncle Buck said:A bit like Robinson?
blockhseagull said:Jakey to me looks low on confidence, and his movement is superb.... just needs to bang a few in for the reserves to get his confidence back.
Also Robinson when on loan to Aldershot scored goals and pulled defences apart.... McPhee was constantly subbed and landed up on the bench
Uncle Buck said:Robinson at present reminds me of Stuart Barlow, fast and good enough on the ball, but a bit of a jigsaw.

I've hardly seen enough of him recently but he is a player who can actually hold the ball up and so i'd like to see him given a few games to see how he works with CKR, robinson et al.
Les Biehn said:[. Didn't look like scoring but who knows with a run in the side. Certainly holds the ball up well. [/B]
dunno said:he scored 4 in the league - but 9 in total including Coca Cola Cup/Fa Cup etc. I thought at the time he was going to cut it particular when he scored that overhead kick Bristol Rovers and the two goals against sheffield wednesday - but alas he hasn't (so far?!)
bigc said:From another thread, I noticed a myth developing that Chris McPhee was prolific/successful in our last spell in League 1.
He scored 4 goals.
Rangdo said:He didn't get much of a look in after Mcghee arrived and then he had a long injury lay-off if I remember correctly.
Rangdo said:From 5 starts and 12 sub appearances.
bigc said:yep it was.
Sorry,I was just as behind McPhee at the time, I remember his great contribution against Blackpool in Coppell's final game in charge.
I was one of the ones who wanted him to come on every week to replace the disappointing Henderson(how players change )
It just all went a bit downhill after that.
Les Biehn said:I personally think if the right coach got hold of McPhee you might see a Henderson like renaissance.
