It's so sad seeing what's unfolding at Forest. Hughton is such a decent man that it pains me to see him struggle so much.

Christ almighty it’s only been four league games, He has a strong character I doubt it’s even effecting him. If they beat Derby fans are back onside and hopefully they can go on a run.
I seriously doubt it would be enough to turn around the supporters. They've watched ultra-cautious, non-successful football for 50 games and one league win wont change the general perception.
It would probably buy him another game or two to turn things around though. But I think its nearly mission impossible at this stage, they need to go on a very decent streak now if the perception of the fans are to substantially change.

Don't worry, sad though it is, he will be put out of his misery soon. Obviously it's for hime to decide what he wants to do once the almost inevtiable axe has fallen, but for me the Forest job was just one too many.
At nearly 63 he has more than done his bit, he should be tending his roses, not taking flak from disgruntled football fans.

He's had a full season of games at Forest now and his record is pretty poor. Last season only Derby County scored less than them.
I still insist it is a basket case club and he should have known better. He's been undermined by the board (Bong was told he was surplus to requirement, only for their first choice LB to be sold just before the season started - so Bong is back in) and not backed at all. Even more madness that he did not take the offer to talk to Bournemouth (presumably....) in the summer

Keep opposing Nottingham Forest while Chris Hughton is still in charge. The atmosphere at the City Ground has really turned toxic in recent matches. With Wolves' huge squad, no matter what team they put on the the team sheet (which turned out to be an extremely impressive one) the even money turned out to be a very stress-free evening.

I suspect that would be driven primarily by a financial factor, as opposed to any notions of 'honour'. He signed a 2 year deal there last year - he's not going to walk out now and burn half of it.
If he's given the heave-ho by Forest, it'll be a "mutual agreement" jobbie and he will be compensated, just as he was by BHA.

Huge game for Forest and Hughton tomorrow against Rooney's Derby - win and they could start to put a few results together - lose and Hughton could lose his job.

The only real difference between them has been energy levels really. Derby have been up for it, counter attack really well, where as Forest have seemed quite pedestrian. They should've been one up, but Taylor's decision making was terrible, should've lobbed the keeper. Dunno what Bong was doing for the goal, you just need to defend the situation rather than call for an offside when he clearly wasn't.
