Hughton has shown - both at Brighton in the Championship and earlier at Newcastle in both the Championship and the PL - that he will play attacking football when he has the players capable of doing it - he didn't in the PL with Brighton and he didn't at Forest. Most players want to play attacking football - the danger is that if they are not capable of doing it while defending as well then you end up losing a lot of games. Sometimes when you get a managerial change you can chalk up 2/3 good results - but it rarely lasts if the quality is not there.

we shall watch with interest

No need to make fun of CH because of Brightons results. Not classy.

(his Forest spell was dire though but thats a different thing)

I really mean it. I've always said to bring back Hughton. I believe he could have done just as well.

Rarely agree with you but you're right here.

Remind me who got us to the PL?

Best to try to look forward….

It’s super odd that some fans are even thinking about us and Chris Hughton today. Chris did fantastic to get us promoted and to stay up with the squad we had. TB made a change to take us forward but you can’t take away how good CH did for us and why would anyone? Bizarre.

Completely agree.

GP is into his third season and still our fans live in the past.

CH was great, but that is in the past. The king is dead, long live the king.

Correct!

Seriously, I'm for sacking Potter and bringing Hughton back. No facetiousness at all. Truly, check my posts, I have been a Hughton man forever.

Wow.

I took a peek at your post because it is so long ago that I put you on ignore I can't remember why I did it. Thanks for the instant heads up.

I've checked your posts. You're that weird Septic who pretended to live in Darlington and faked a family funeral on here. I've no idea why you're on here but people should know you're about as trustworthy as Donald Trump in a Casino.

Yep, I really miss the loan striker just in the opponents half with the rest of the team huddled in our penalty area, I miss the chants of OLE as the opposition pass the ball among themselves unchallenged. I really cannot abide the way we are playing the game, swift skilful passes full of flair and optimism, I cant stand the way we fight for every minute of every match. Yep I am with you, lets bring back CH and stay up by parking the bus.

Just so we can do this scientifically, can Albion my Albion do a pros and cons for Potter v Hughton in our current position? I'm sure it would be very informative.
