Chris needs to bring in Glenn, Shane and Proper. I have no doubt he will get Murray firing 10 goals minimum this season.

Shane would be a good move (for both parties), but not sure about Glenn (age) or Propper (suited to the rough and tumble of Championship football? - I'm not sure).
Maybe a useful 6 months for Sanders, Molumby - or even Alzate - if Potter doesn't want to include them.

Propper would never go to the Championship imo - Dutch international!

To be honest there's a chance he might not make it to January there.

And there is absolutely no chance Murray would get 10 goals in half a season in the championship anymore. There is a reason why he's not getting anywhere near the Watford side.

Still early doors there really, give him the rest of the season at least.
Though if he doesnt make some impact by then he might be out.
Tough game.

Look at his first half season with us - it was hideous. No creativity, barely any points and couldn’t score for toffee. Then look at the four seasons after his first summer transfer window - Third on GD (Champ), second (Champ - promoted), then safety twice in a row in the PL.

It would be criminal if he’s not given time there.

it was grim but I felt that his first task was to make us solid and tough to beat- which we were. I might be wrong but I think we won 3 matches in a row fairly early on in his spell which put us quite easily clear of the relegation zone, but once we felt we were "safe" we really struggled to win a game or even score a goal

plus of course there was Leon Best.....

Agree entirely. I’m not saying he should have done anything differently. It was about keeping us in the league by making us compact and hard to beat. My point is that there are parallels between us then and Forest now (even if they arguably have a better squad now than we had at that time).

With time, I think he’ll get them promoted.

He built a very good squad for our promotion, goal machine Murray, a younger hungry Knockaert great defence and midfield. Forest look way of that squad at present I do wonder if football has moved on from Hughton tactics now but still good luck to him.

Maybe, just maybe, he is not quite as nice a guy as he likes to pretend.

He tried to make out like his sacking was a shock when, in truth, he should have been dumped months before he was. He did this for self-interest. And the mugs on here lapped it up: clowns [emoji1782] . The morons would rather support an ex manager than the club’s saviour,

Now he is sucking up to the Forest faithful. The truth is they are no longer a big club. They may well be again, but not now.

Jesus mate, you not able to have an opinion without insulting others who have different ones? Are you 12? Grow the **** up. Maybe, just maybe, you yourself are the "mug.....clown......moron"?

All managers go stale at a club at some point, they have a finite timeline of success. Chris's time was up, most normal people can recognise that, thank him for what he did here, and wish him well somewhere else (and show some interest in what he's doing there if they're bothered).

How many Millions have been paid via TV for first reachng the PL and then staying there another two years ?

You are a disingenuous pr!ck with you're failure to recognise what Chris helped achieve at Brighton. Not only financially but there will be a group of Brighton fans between the ages of 7 and 11 years old who have known nothing but success in the Championship and have got to see their team playing in the PL who otherwise have been inclined to become fans of another larger Club had their local Club not been playing in the PL and been on TV every week.

Here they come... the ‘Chris is God, our club made a mistake sacking him’ brigade of morons... what a major surprise.

Nice balanced view... get your head out of your beloved Chris’s ar$e and you may yet be able to see straight... of course his achievements are recognised by me, but so is his abject last 6 months...

I wonder why this man, who only wanted a PL job, ended up managing lower end Championship again!? Hmmm. It is a mystery...

I was shocked that CH was sacked in the way he was but I totally get it, I just didn’t think Bloom would do it in such a cold hearted way. Having said that I was of the opinion that he needed to go but that takes absolutely nothing away from what he did for this club. CH found the Holy Grail and kept it for two seasons, whilst giving us two of the best seasons I have experienced since starting to follow the Albion on our journey to the PL. He IS an Albion legend and I hate the swipes still going on about the dire last few months of his tenure, and how that over rides all that went before.

CH

I really hope that he gets the time to turn Forest around, because he will if backed.
