[Albion] Chris Hughton interview

Hopefully if Forest ever do visit the Amex the vast majority of Albion fans will take the view that it's quite possible to have huge admiration and respect for Chris Hughton and Graham Potter at the same time
Yes very much so.
I was a big fan of hughton and was sorry to see him go,but I think we are all grown up enough to understand how businesses work,Tony bloom wanted to take things in a different direction and felt Chris wasn't the right man for that.
Doesn't mean Hughtons style was wrong or he was at fault,it's just how life is sometimes and we all move on.
I will always think of hughton as a legend here and be thankful of what he achieved for us and the fantastic memories he gave us.
Potter and ashworth run things now and I have always been behind this new style and 100percent team potter so I am a fan of both Houghton and potter.
I would love to see Chris Houghton's forest at the amex with knockheart, Murray, bong(and maybe even big duffers)Vs potter and our current team.
That will be like something amazing!!
Hopefully to a packed amex too.

Bloody hell, you have got thin skin, you would have not lasted five mins on here back in the day

A poster was pissed with you for what was a below the belt comment, even if you were joking and you “reported” it. I doubt you’ll get whatever response it is you were hoping for tbh.

Eh I didn’t insult the man. But oh cool. So you don’t mind if I call you nob-head then.

And if you complain I’ll say “oh that’s how we do it back in the day and you have thin skin”. Got it [emoji106]

I have been called much worse, so yes go ahead and call me a knobhead

I have been here since Noah was a boy and haven’t yet reported a single post, so don’t worry I won’t complain.

It’s just a forum and as another Potter In surely you’ve been called all sorts of things after a game we lost?

I tend to just ignore people who piss me off, although sometimes I’ll have a go back if I feel like it

Feel free to call me nob-head as well. I wont complain. I wont even care.

I'd say the vast majority of people here got skin thick enough to not be bothered by generalist throw-away insults like "nob-head". You should join that club.

You don’t get prizes for longevity.

Let’s recap as I’m being misrepresented.

I said, this in a playful way:

Hotline ringing as we speak at JRG, NooBHA and LondonIrish’s.

(Only teasing you guys. We all love Chris).

And the gentleman responds like this:

You really are a Nobb-Edd and should analyse you own actions before trying to piss on the loyalies of someone like myself and others on here.

And you think I’M the one with thin skin?

The poster in question is a mate of CH, think about it

FWIW I am actually embarrassed by my post count

I do think, often, that I should take a long holiday from NSC but it’s a bloody addiction

You assume I’m bothered by it. It’s the gentleman who had the thin skin to reply to a playful comment in that way.

Swanny, you may not be here to realise but one of the things I’m most proud of with our club is it’s effort to purge the social and online landscape of obnoxious speech, insults and behaviour. I won’t tolerate it in real life or here either and will call it out sorry. We can all be civil to each other. No excuses.

Yer like a little Jack Russell dog that bites at people's legs and runs away rounding up a Posse from an old Western Movie trying to find people to take your side in discussions which start to run away from you despite the fact that you are the one who has a bite at someone first.

Don't you see yourself for how you act ? It's like the little boy in the class that shops everyone for talking to the teacher if he or she steps out of the class for 2 minutes.

Try analysing your behaviour mate. It isn't a good image.

And what did I say in this thread that was so wrong and so offensive? Let’s see:

Hotline ringing as we speak at JRG, NooBHA and LondonIrish’s.

(Only teasing you guys. We all love Chris).

Wow. Really? That’s what offended you? And for the record I’ve disagreed and jostled with JRG a few times but he has a good sense of humour.

Anyway I don’t really care who your mates are. You’re the one lashing out with personal insults. You’ve done it a few times to me now. It’s not very civil or very pleasant and frankly not a good reflection on the fine gentleman Chris Hughton is. Analyse yourself.

I don't think you will find anyone on here with a wider sense of humour than me.

I could laugh watching an egg boil.

But I know when I am being " goaded " .

I sit down day after day and analyse contracts to try and extract duplicitous meanings from written wording.

So your "after the fact" lobby for external support most certainly doesn't alter my original analysis of your initial post.

Tempted to report you because this is quite clearly untrue as my sense of humour is far wider as I could laugh just at the boiling water.

LOL LOL

You could then potentially sue me for " false representation "
