Holroyd seems to have been fairly involved tonight v Eastbourne without really threatening a goal. I wonder if he impressed Gus enough to be offered a deal? Although Cambridge say no approach has been made they seem to want to do business and I guess need the money a transfer would give them

We have a few strikers who are involved without threatening a goal already

In the field
Holroyd played ok tonight, his pace is his greatest asset I feel. He isnt afraid to have the ball at his feet and have a go running at the defence. Tonight was one of the quieter games that I have seen him involved in.

Incidentally, I couldn't spot Gus or anyone wearing a Brighton tracksuit or anything. I wasn't sitting that close to where the scouts normally are though.

Poyet has been quoted as saying he is interested - check our page on the bbc website. He didn't say were or were not going to sign him though.
