Chocolate - plain or milk

I'm going to upset the chocolate Nazis here, but give me a bag of Minstrels or a bar of Dairy Milk every time over some bitter, dark, made-with-90%-Peruvian-goat-fertilised-organic-cocoa-beans stuff.

i do love a bit of the Peruvian goat fertilised stuff, but i really, really love a nice bar of Daily Milk too. European Milk chocolate can be vastly overrated though, Cadbury is the king.

Hersheys is vile. It's like chocolate flavoured soap.

absolutly true, but oddly if they put anything in it, peanuts, waffer, it suddenly becomes quite acceptable.

Has to be Cadbury's Dairy Milk - nothing else comes close.

First time I tried Hershey's I actually spat it out! Disgusting stuff.

Milk - I only like dark chocolate on Jaffa Cakes or with mint.
I hate Hersheys too, I tried it in America years ago
I prefer Galaxy to Cadburys and love Lindt Lindor

I am actually amazed that this is so close. I wrongly assumed that everybody (except my wife) would see sense, and vote in the obvious way. Milk chocolate is clearly far nicer than plain chocolate. Far, far nicer.

Green and Blacks is overpriced and really quite nasty, and most plain chocolate is only good for cooking (and even then, only if you add milk).

Hershey's shouldn't be mentioned in a thread about chocolate.

Galaxy used to be unbeatable, but they've done something to it. Dairy Milk is nicer now.

Yorkies? They are excellent. But Flakes and Twirls are where it's at.

Come on dark side; the milkies cannot win this. Did there use to to be a plain chocolate Walnut Whip? Maybe it was a dream, but even then it was far superior to the excrescence that is the current product.
