Would have thought it was pretty obvious you'd need an adult with your kids, i'd imagine its the same as a school trip . you need x amount of adults per y amount of children.

Best to check. I am sure they will let you in. Just start crying if they don't. I could only book four adult tickets for me and three kids!

He'll be talking about the Young Seagulls party at the Amex.

I don't believe adults need tickets as it only let me book 2, for the kids, and none for the adults.

Bozza, for each junior seagull member number when booking online you needed to book TWO tickets one for the child and one for the accompanying adult; the tickets have arrived for my two kids and I have the four tickets I ordered.

So I've read on here. But it didn't let me - it only let me order 2 tickets, 1 for each kid, and didn't allow me to order for the 2 adults.

So I've read on here. But it didn't let me - it only let me order 2 tickets, 1 for each kid, and didn't allow me to order for the 2 adults.

When I went onto the Young Seagulls website and clicked on the Christmas Party link it said that both the child and adult needed a ticket each.

For each of my two sons I logged them in using their own fan numbers and selected which party (out of the four choices) they wanted to attend and then when the bit came to order the tickets there was a drop-down box offerring the choice of "1" or "2" so I selected "2". I then did the same for my other son and received four tickets.

I must admit when I did the first order I nearly missed the drop-down box option to select 2 tickets and almost only ordered one by mistake - which is what looks like happened with others.

I'm sure when you turn up and explain the option for two tickets rather than one wasn't very clear it will (hopefully) be fine. I'd imagine though that the logic behind both the adults and kids each having seperate tickets is 1) to let both of you through the turnstile, and 2) to have a strict control on numbers so the area isn't overcrowded.

Just seen on Ask the Club Albion Dan asked the same question a few days ago and Insider gave this response "Each member can apply for two tickets per Young Seagulls fan number (one adult, one child)" which is exactly what I was able to do so wierd how others couldn't do the same - unless they didn't either see or had the drop-down option of selecting 2 tickets per child.

I did it on my iPad on a train so I can blame Steve Jobs. Well I could if he hadn't died.

The whole process did seem a bit of a faff, I thought and wasn't very intuitive.

Additionally, I'm sure it said entry would be added to smartcards, but physical tickets then turned up in the post.

I think the reason paper tickets were issued is because access is probably via the turnstiles and one smartcard can't be programmed to let through two seperate people (one child and one adult) through a turnstile. Also I guess because not all Junior Seagulls members would neccessarily have a season ticket smartcard to add it to?

Maybe my season tickets have been enabled as well as the paper ones then. Who knows?

However as I shall also be hand delivering Christmas cards to some members of club staff, there will simply be HELL to pay if they don't let me in to the party.
