Whilst Blair is a lying toerag, I wonder how a certain Mr Campbell feels?

David Kelly, Andrew Gilligan? hmmmm....

Whilst I cannot stand Blair, he was at least elected. Campbell was just a nasty unelected henchman

Just listened to his interview. Still spinning and trying to defend the indefensible.

The Chilcot report contains 2,500,000 words. If the average reading speed is 250 words per minute it would take 166 hours 40 minutes to read it. How many people will read it all?

It`s always easy with hindsight to judge...

There was plenty of foresight at the time. Hans Blix, Dr Kelly, Robin Cook, Clare Short, Charles Kennedy, the 1.2 million people who went to the streets of London to protest, and all the millions who didn't

The good old "hindsight" chestnut doesn't work in this instance.

Spot on, how Blair can still be lying and trying to defend himself after todays report is mind boggling.

Sad thing is, BLiar's stance was totally transparent at the time. He was asone with GWB earlydoors, used every single bit of leverage at his disposal to deliver the UK as a whole to signing up to GWB invasion plans, overriding any checks and balances that stood in his way. You would swear blind he had some zoo animal porn with which to blackmail Lord/Baron Goldsmith. As for the Coalition Of The Willing. Did you ever see anybody less willing in all your life than the Spanish PM? Again, some serious coercion would appear to have signed him up to the illegal and immoral cause.

Seriously crap that NSC did a reboot round about the time of the illegal and immoral invasion of 2003, Cos there was some cracking debate on here at the time. The reboot also wiped out most of the Falmer Inquiry reports by the estimable Lord Bracknell. Timing of the reboot SUCKED bigtime. Though obviously no fault of the custodian(s) of the site, to whom total respect is due.

Hes still going:

Mr Blair says: "I can look the nation in the eye and say I did not mislead this country.. I made the decision in good faith on information I had at the time, and can say it is better we took the decision."

One of the top SIS sources based his reporting of Saddam's WMD on the Sean Connery movie 'The Rock'.

Yep, when he started he looked like he was about to cry, and then proceded to make excuses.

It's compelling viewing.

I don't think I've ever seen him so flustered.

Blair is going on the premise that if Saddam remained he would have gone on to make WMD, but the UN weapons inspectors would have continued their work there indefinitely. So just more BS.
