Chicken pies at the Amex........................

Honest opinion here.

Steak and Ale, Fantastic, better than any pie not just at Footy grounds.
Chicken and Ham, slightly dissapointed, but probably because I'd had the Steak one first.
Not tried Veggie yet.

All in all they are worth every penny.

A little niggle if I may, as everyone says how nice they are, but the bloke in front of me at the Posh game had one, and while the box was quite big, the pie didn't exactly stretch out to meet the sides of the box ??? In fact, there must have been an inch gap between pie and box-side all round!? Slightly put me off a purchase tbf :nono:

I bought a Veggie pie for my wife and was told that the box contained two small pies. They were right but what they didn't say was that they were chicken!!!!!!!!!!! The box said veggie. I took the box back (after eating the pies) to show them the error and they offered a free one. Didn't take up the offer though. Beef are my favourite but they can be a bit too hot.

Have tried the chicken and ham twice, both times the pies were too hot to eat, but once they cooled a bit were delicious.
I would have to say the steak and ale is my preffered of the pies, quality everytime.
My mate who i took to the Sunderland match is a vegan and he said the Vegi was amazing!!!! Might try one soon

Tried to avoid the question till tomorrow as I'm not entirely sure. I know that it has a layer of butternut squash and then a layer of roasted vegetables. Not sure what vegetables they are though. Will confirm once I see Mrs P haven't seen her for days despite living in the same house
