I'm not often out that way but if I am, I've made a mental note of the recommendations.

Correct.......no-one ever called it the Royal Arms in my Chichester drinking days.
The Old Cross is not the pub it used to be,but I like the George and Dragon and the Park Tavern.
Still no night club for the youngsters in Chichester and although I still like the place,it does appear to be run by old farts for the benefit of old farts, despite there being a thriving college and uni in the city.
Dennis and his wife Anna ran the Punch House. The Vic in Eastgate was pretty good too.
speaking of Chichester they srill have good live bands in the Fountain on South Street....this sat night its "Ticklin the Pickle" ...funk soul...seem em before they are great...
Used to drink in the Victoria in St Pancras in the 80's when I worked in Chichester. Is that the same Vic, now converted into flats?
