[Albion] Cherry-picking relegated players...

Thunder Bolt

We’ll carry on signing players from abroad that most of us have never heard off. We will not be paying overinflated prices for players who basically failed in the Premier League this season imo. This will be regardless of which division we are in.

We have to have a quota of home grown players.

Good point, maybe some of the currently all conquering youngsters will make the step up. How many home grown players do we need in the squad, we have a few already.

Salomon Rondon

Strong, scores goals at this level when given service, can be a target man so would fit the system

Are you av'in a laugh or what.....

That would truly be the sign of a club with no ambition to move forward no better than what we have on loan up front, actually go as far as not a patch on Leo at this point.

I'd suggest you speak about Peter a bit more nicely, please.

Have some respect for the great man.

Get him in, give him a statue, retire his shirt number and name the North stand "Crouch End"

Have got to assume he's near the core of what's going wrong at WBA. Player leaves big team, going on to milk a living well within his comfort zone at a lesser club - see Wes Brown, John O'Shea, Phil Barsdley, Kieran Richardson, Darren Gibson etc for further examples. Wonder if the Man U link is just coincidence...

Assuming West Brom, Stoke and Southampton go down, which players would you like to see Albion snatching from their squads? I'd say...

1) Jay Rodriguez, but that might not go down too well in the dressing room...
2) Ryan Bertrand - probably couldn't afford him and there would be no shortage of bigger clubs sniffing around
3) Charlie Austin - we've been linked with him before and he'd be a good fit
4) And nobody from Stoke.

This list is meant as a joke, yes?

One player who has been accused of racially abusing our left back, and two with massive attitude problems?

I'm glad you're not in charge of recruitment!

We have to have 8 in the squad of 25. Funnily enough Glen Murray doesn't count as he played in the USA in his youth.
If we sell Dunk, we still have Goldson.

Actually, yes. Wasn't he one of the taxi4?

Matt Targett as well would be a more than decent backup LB.

Targett has been at Fulham for months, and has just declared that nobody from Saints has spoken to him once since he left, despite nearing the end of his current contract.

I'd suggest he's available whether Saints go down or not.

(Not convinced he's very good though...)
