Made more money backing the second each way at 20s than I would have done backing Big Bucks and being a dull favourite backer, Time For Rupert was NEVER going to be unplaced if you looked at the form.

i was looking for a big bucks alternative and went Time for Rupert as per your earlier post, if i knew what the bloody hell i was looking at i would have backed him higher!

Not a great day today though, need my banker of the day to get me out of a little hole in the next, still, won't end the Festival out of pocket for a change this year whatever happens the rest of today and tomorrow after yesterday's extravaganza!

And I made more from backing Big Buck's than I would backing Time for Rupert. But I did quite well out of my earlier 18-1 winner Buena Vista. But I was a bit dull and went each way.

It's horses for courses. Pun intended.

Well, I'm filing today at Cheltenham in the GASH/Uncle S pile, having a better day at Southwell, why aren't channel 4 showing that? :jester:

im even over the two days of Cheltenham that iv bet on. My starting deposit was meant to have been lost over those two days so i shall be in the market for Fridays festivities. which is a record for me at Cheltenham.

Nothing dull about that, it's ALL about finding something to beat the Jolly, that's the thrill for me!

Maybe for you.

For me it's ending up with more money than I started with. Big Buck's was massive value today although, like most, I was beginning to doubt even that.

We should point out to Trigger that it wasn't the Jolly when we backed it.

Yeah yeah, favourite backer...

Good luck with it, I shall mainly be losing this race with a dull each way on Isn't That Lucky.

Plenty of money around for Boychuk.

Yeah, noticed the Boychuk money.

Galant Nuit was 3rd/4th when I got on - now a very short looking 11/2.

McCoy doubtful to rise Denman tomorrow?... He may well be worth backing if that's the case as he may get ridden properly!
