Inert defending to say the least.

Well as there were more English players in Real Madrids team than in the Arsenal team last night it can have a knock on effect.

BTW just an observation I always support the English club no matter who.

Know what you're saying, but Barcelona have come out with a right load of old crap in the run up to this game.

All that bullshit about the pitch not suiting their stylish football, it's rubbish. Both teams have to play on it. It's like "big" clubs playing at Withdean, they have to shut up and get on with it. Maybe that's why they annoy me, as it reminds me of the likes of Leeds and Wolves reactions.

Obviously Barca don't realise it can be quite rainy in London as opposed to the coast of the Mediterranean.

The other thing that's annoying is how UEFA swept all the business with the referee Frisk last year under the carpet.

Mourinho claimed Rijkaard went into Frisk's room at half time and got banned for two matches for that. Yet Mourinho was later proved entirely correct, Rijkaard ADMITTED he went into the ref's room. But did UEFA apologise? No. Did they rescind Mourinho's ban? No. They just kept on about the end of Frisk's (long and crap) career.

Even the English media seemed to sweep that one under the carpet. Yet another example of UEFA treating English clubs more harshly than others.

I'm no Chelsea fan, but Barcelona's setting themselves up as the moral victors in every scenario grates slightly with me, and I would love to see them tipped on their arses again, Ronaldinho or not.

With the greatest of respect mate they are hardly English teams. (2 English on the pitch). clubs is the correct word to use.

Difficult for Chelski to turn this around now.
