The U23s are in action tomorrow at Aldershot Ebb stadium 12pm KO v Chelsea , the U23s have been in good form of late after a 6 game unbeaten run came to a end v Derby losing 1-0 , a late show yet again v Blackburn secured a 2-1 win in PL2 , then on monday we played Benfica in the international cup and ran out comfortable 2-0 winners , Chelsea sit in 3rd place in the PL2 league and we are in 6th just 1 point behind them , a win can see us go top , for a while at least , hopefully we will get to see some action via Seagulls TV who have now woken up a bit and the service is slowly improving thankfully , will there be a suprise place on the first teams bench for young goal machine Connolly considering Murray is doubtful ? wouldn't that be something special :)

Could happen as Hughton usually has 3 attacking players on the bench, so assuming March / Ali J is in the Groß role, then we are 1 player short of this if Murray is out.

Would be nice. Does anyone know who is higher in the pecking order though, him or Gyrökes?

Gyokeres usually plays deeper or out wider so probably less likely at the moment though pushing all the same , Connolly is a out and out striker and if anybody steps up at the moment it would/should be him

Not looking good for SeagullsTV as they dont even have any text on the Matchday page with 40mins to go

I hope they do! If they start producing a forward timetable of games they will televise - not a vague promise that they might show some U23/U21 games, and not announcing it until the last minute - then they would be very likely to get a subscription out of me.

Exactly!

P.S. Connolly and Gyokeres definitely not on the bench today then..............

2nd best goals against in the division too....interesting that man city u23 only mid table despite their senior team (men and women) being so strong - maybe a sign that city buy their talent rather than home grow it?

Had a look on Chelsea TV and not on there either , they have however had the decency to do a pre match preview , which actually does mention that they're playing us , very nice of them .

They're absolute garbage at the back , brilliant to watch offensively until they get into the box then it all seems to fall apart .

Bus firmly parked so far , seems like the usual counter attack tactics that have worked pretty well all season (so far)
