[Football] Chelsea - Spending well beyond FFP limits or astute purchases maxing out within FFP?

Fascinated to see how this works out for them in the long term……feels like a shit or bust strategy. They’re also ending up with another bloated squad for this season and all the issues that might cause too.
I get the frustration from many about their spending, but have to temper that with the fact that to 99%+ of other football clubs we are ‘super rich’ and only able to compete at our current level because some chap has put c£500m of his own money into the club.
Hall is very highly rated - looks a bit like a panic sale.

Chelsea aren't doing anything wrong.
The EPL is yet to sign up to the 5 year depreciation.
Chelsea aren't in any UEFA tournament so there rules don't take precedent.
In FFP terms Caicedo is costing Chelsea £14.5m a year.
Chelsea made £75m 'FFP profit' on Mount and other (name escapes me) double-barrelled surname fella alone.
Havertz was on the books as £20m and sold for £61m, so there's a further £40m 'FFP Profit' there.
You can do the same with all their signings.
It may well be a bit whiffy and when UEFA come into play they'll have to juggle a little, but that juggling will consist of 'sell academy and get a shirt sponsor'.

He’s majorly tied up with the QIA - for example his latest JV with Starwood Capital to fund a major expansion of Canary Wharf which is owned by the Qataris.
It's still a hell of a risk though. The biggest one being they've bought 25 odd players who are all kids. The natural odds say that 3 or 4 of those are going to turn out to be not as good / promising as hoped, or have personal problems / down tools / become disenfranchised when not playing. There is also huge pressure on the manager to have no mistakes. If they have poor results they've got to risk all those players and agents being happy with a new manager with new ideas. Also the new manager and club are going to suffer without leverage over agents and players.
Imagine the situation where one or two players are fecked off and causing murder in the dressing room but have 6 / 7 year massive contracts they can sit on. They can't be just paid off or bundled out the door a la Trossard. You only need the wheels to come off slightly and it's a massive mess.
Here's hoping anyway.

Quite..is that not surely a key requirement of any coach/manager..getting the best out of your players? If not, you’re just a shopper.
