Crazy. It would much cheaper to bribe all the refs.

True. In fact, Chelski wouldn't have to bribe all the refs. A few bungs for the refs if the big games (v Manure, the Arse etc) and the refs for some of those games that Chelsea have an annoying habit of losing (Wolves, say) and they'd be laughing.

A couple of million to each ref would cost a lot less than Raul (and some refs might find that sort of money hard to resist - though they might have some explaining to do when they buy the flat in Chelsea, the Ferrari and the yacht).

Don't bet that Abramovitch hasn't thought of it.
