Thought Chelsea looked bang average against Spurs today, considering all the money they've spent.
They are very poor stats since we stuffed them.

Rape of Hastings, Sussex
Chelsea unashamedly poaching our back room talent and then f***ing everything up, including us beating them is my favourite football sub-plot.
As was sung that glorious afternoon back in October when we beat them: "You're just a shit Brighton & Hove Albion!"

Thanks for the data. In the past, premier league defeat by the Albion seemed to inevitably generate immediate calls for the manager to be sacked. For Potter it has taken a bit longer….

The 6 goals is the lowest of any club in all 4 divisions, over the same period Manchester United have scored 46
And people argued Potters teams struggle scoring goals. No width in his sides which I felt was our issue it’s like trying to thread the ball through an eye of a needle.
Spending £80m on a talented winger is quite frankly wasted on Potter he didn’t trust Mitoma either.

Take away our feelings towards Potter, should they sack him?

I've been saying they need to give him time, this is a long term project, and that its a similar situation to how Arteta was failing with Arsenal but then slowly got them playing his way.... but with each poor result its now feeling like GP is just out of his depth & there's almost nothing he can do to stop the decline. Once you lose the players there's no going back, and Graham from little old Brighton was always going to have a tough job keeping them & the fans on side.

Having poached our entire recruitment team, you'd have thought they would have signed a top stri....

Oh, hang on....

I did that gag earlier today on another thread.

I'll get my raiment.

I have thought if they give him time then it’ll come good for them, but honestly now I don’t see how he can continue. Similar to Moyes at Man Utd, if they keep him it will work, but over several years and can they afford to fall that far behind. In many ways this is a worse failure than Moyes as he inherited an ageing team which was on the verge of falling apart with not huge pots of money at his disposal, whereas Graham has had almost everything he could have wanted and is still coming up way, way short. It has that feeling of inevitability about it now.

The worse thing is the reputation of British managers at the top clubs only sinks further. Battered by Moyes and sunk by Potter.

Yeah they were shite and has been in most of the games. Not even playing well, which is bit of a first for a GP managed team. I think GPs £500k Östersund side anno 2016 would have a good chance of beating his £500m Chelsea side. Quite remarkable really.

Not to mention the 100s of Steven Gerrards and Frank Lampards doing f*** all over the years.

It is quite remarkable that in 30 years of Premier League not one English manager has won the league.. in England. Something is fundamentally wrong when that is the case.

When the camera’s pan in on the technical area it all looks very uncomfortable, recently it reminds me of Jones at Southampton a manger who looks very much alienated by his players.

The sight of him and Billy 'Bumblewick Thistle' Reid this afternoon talking with their hands over their mouths absolutely smacked of rearranging the deckchairs on The Titanic.

He seems to like having Mudryk out wide left, but it's going to take time for him to knit (or others with him)
