I'm looking for some inspiration from all you NSC foodies. I'm a mature cheddar girl, but other than a bit of Parmesan on the pasta, I never really venture further than that. I know I definitely don't like feta though. Yuck.

What cheeses do you like and what do you have them with?

You cant beat a good 3 year old matured cheese. Usually get them at shows and stock up.

Take a trip to Borough market where there are loads of different cheese on offer and sellers willing to let you try all of them. Then you can make your own mind up.

Sounds great. I'll definitely give that a go, is it very pricey?

There was a cheese I bought at Middle farm once. Black bomber or something like that. Absolutely blew my tongue off, but very tasty all the same, never found anything like it since. Waitrose do an 8 but it doesn't come close.

Mozzarella, avocado, tomato, lob on a healthy load of black pepper and drizzle with white wine and balsamic vinegar combo. With a lump of fresh baguette = very tasty lunch

Another vote for Roqufort and St Agur too

Oh and baked Camembert with the rest of your French bread!

Here, there and everywhere
Middle Farm is a good call if you want to try the cheese before buying.

Mozzarella is good, sliced with tomatoes and avocado. Also Emmenthal or Gruyere, on its own. Get a fresh baguette and have sliced Brie with ripe tomatoes or ripe pear.
