after having some delightful wenslydale on a water cracker last night i got to thinking about what cheese goes best wth which cracker.

Im personally a huge fan of mature chedder on a digestive but what tickles your cheesey tastebuds ???

Mature cheddar - at room temperature - on Ritz crackers. Mmmmm. And a glass of port.

Or if you happen to be my doctor who is concerned about my blood pressure, it's a sliver of low fat cheese on a piece of celery, and a glass of water.

Ossau-Iraty or Comte on a thin waffer type water biscuit, hits he spot. My wife misses out the biscuit/cracket part and combines with red wine instead.

Goats cheese on water biscuits

Mature Cheddar on multi grain crackers

Ripe Camembert on Oatcakes

and last but definitley not least Emmental on Digestives with a nice ripe fig
