Lots of people did, and still do!When I stood in the North Stand back in the 90s, there was a young lad who always chanted 'cheese rolls! Cheese rolls!' when the Seagulls! chant went up. It always stuck with me.

I remember walking up in 1977 to see the Queen’s Silver Jubilee beacon although I only made it half-way being 7 months pregnant!I used to live about 15 minutes walk away when I was a kid growing up back in the 70’s. I can remember clambering up that hill on my hands and knees and when you get to the top and look back it is bloody steep. Not worth breaking bones for a bit of cheese in my opinion.
