We did a tour of the Champagne region of France some years ago and had it quite often then but havent seen it advertised very much lately perhaps it has died a death.
Adding the egg made it a more substantial snack meal.
butter then loads of cheese , tomatoes, plus green pepper and /or mushrooms ...i just love it!
