What will your opinion be if the 250k falls into the "Black Hole" that is Falmer finances and we do not get anyone in on loan?
Titanic said:If we have to put the money into the Falmer fund - then so be it.
The alternative is no Falmer - and Div 1 football on a shoestring until we go bust.
Or someone with 10's of millions to burn fancies us as a play thing for a while.

It's Christmas, for chrissake post something positive......just for once
dave the gaffer said:I don't really buy that argument. On Tuesday we did not have 250k, there was no statement from the club that we were going bust...in fact the club have gone out of the way to stress that although our finances were not in a healthy state, we have been assured that the club will survive. I also understand that the 2mill we are being asked for is a fighting fund, not a lifeboat!
This money must be ring fenced as there is no way anyone would have seen selling a player who had been released by barnet and Wycombe as a sellable asset. It is an absolute bonus and must be used to strengthen a squad which is now depleted with no creative midfielders in it at all!!!

McGhee: " I am absolutely party to the club's financial plight and under no illusions that we have to accept an offer of this magnitude".
Knight: "In our current financial situation the board were unanimous that we had no choice but to accept the sum Ipswich finally offered us".
Doesn't sound to me like much of that money, if any, is earmarked for team strengthening. Hopefully, I'm wrong.
