Do they actually scan the code to prove compliance, or is it a quick glance and wave you through (my guess is this). What I am trying to say is what's the point if you can't 100% gaurantee compliance with the requirements for entry.
At Getafe game it was comparing the name on the NHS Covid pass to match the same name on ID. No scanning of barcode.
This was by stewards prior to entry.
The only scanning was the match ticket on entry through the turnstiles.

They do look at your ID against COVID pass as I’d got up the Match ticket (same colour as the Covid Pass) and they asked me to show the correct pass.

At Burnley no Covid passes needed.

Looking forward to Saturday - my nhs first name is different from my driving licence and my season ticket!

I'll be sure to download the NHS barcode on the morning of the game, and then screengrab it. Don't want to be relying on a shonky interweb connection to whistle it up at the military checkpoint.

If you had an Iphone you could just put it in your “wallet”, no internet connection required

Just realised I have the same problem, my passport, driving licence and NHS first names are different to my Albion ticket, not going Saturday but I’ll be interested to know how you get on

Not going? :moo:
Bad fan lol

Indeed, I booked a 2245 ferry from Portsmouth before I realised it was a 1730 kick off, too stressful to try and get there after the game

I was 100% going if it was 1500

I would be completely amazed if anyone scans your Covid pass. It's a cursory check to make sure the name on the pass matches the ID. I used a screenshot for the Getafe game which worked fine. Took around 5 seconds tops.

The Astral Planes, man...
Did you have a paper copy or an e version that you showed to the checking member of staff?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I have a paper pass, the checker wanted to see the lower half of it where it says Dose 1 of 2, Dose 2 of 2 etc. They didn't try and scan it.
I've since photocopied it so the original doesn't get mashed up over the season.

If I had an iPhone I'd have to upgrade it every 2 weeks after they spanner the battery, and then brick it with a software update if I've dared to polish the screen with a random rag instead of an Official $75 AppleCloth (c)

The checker said to a chap behind me who only had the card stating the jabs (the one you got at the vaccination centre) would not be accepted for future games, though allowed him to the friendly.
