Red Spotted Hanky uses the same search server as East Coast and a few others

Glad someone has noticed this....................

out of interest, given the plethora of service providers how do you find out who is offering a service to your chosen destination?
Southern's website (and Red Spotted Hanky) sell tickets for any journey. These websites will tell you who the train company is and they should ensure that you don't end up buying a restricted use ticket without being warned what the restrictions are.

There are occasional quirks, though. I've been able to buy SW Trains tickets from Havant to London cheaper on the Southern site than they were on the SW Trains site.

And, for an off-peak day return journey, last Thursday, from Glynde to Winchester, via Southampton, with a railcard, I was unable to buy a ticket from the Southern site - although they would sell me a ticket from Moulsecoomb (using a train that goes through Glynde 15 minutes earlier).

That is because each are provided by different companies and one knows what they are doing.

The Olympics site has a link to what appears to be a version of the national rail engine which they advertise as getting the best ticket deal for the games. Beware - this is not the case at all as I can get a return to Victoria on Saturday for both me and my son from the Southern Railway site for less than half of what they want to charge through the olympic one.

As always with train tickets, shop around and see where you can get the best deal (including going to the ticket office)
