Put LOndon to Lancing into train enquiries and check out the running route of the last train

Theres a similar one to Lewes on a Friday/Saturday. It always used to come up on National Rail, so if you just turn up and say you checked and were told that there was a train, they let you on.

Yes, although I have seen people sneak on at Portslade and Shoreham.

Never seen the logic of not letting people on though.

Fair enough - I have always asked politely and been told (on the quiet) what platform to go to. Whether several lads after a night out would get the same treatment is maybe another issue...

I don't know, as a rule i drive as i don't drink, but this particular night i get dropped off in town and had to get a cab home, they all look the same to me so don't which firm it was. it came to £23. ?? so gave him £25 did not think it was unreasonable as i have nothing to compare it with. (first cab i have got in years) just glad i didn't have to walk home !

Wasn't un unhappy about it until now !
