LA...wishing it was devon..
Dear wise ones of NSC,

I am trying to find community spaces around Sussex - most main towns / cities that will be suitable for hosting a training talk... poss up to 50 people max.
Not after church halls etc, but maybe if anyone knows of any venues that do not charge the earth, or hotels that are more accommodating if people buy refreshments etc..
Have begun to look online, but thought worth a pop to see if anyone has any recommendations, regardless of area of Sussex. Not after megabucks rentals.
Thanks. K

Try Brighton Media Centre / The Werks.

Good conference rooms, good prices. Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap.

In a pile of football shirts
Pulborough Rugby Club has a decent facility.

Barcombe Village Hall is a cracking venue, not expensive, but a bit out in the sticks.

Also have a look at Pilgrim Hall near Uckfield.

Also in Barcombe, the Royal Oak has a function room complete with old fashioned skittle alley. Work and leisure in one venue.

Ringmer Village Hall is right next to the newly reopened Anchor Inn.

White Hart in Lewes has an elegant function room overlooking the High Street.

The Masonic Hall in Queens Road Brighton has rooms available as does the Mason's Charmondean Centre in Worthing.
