Need to go into Brighton for a couple of hours before the game against Vale on Saturday and need to pick someone up from the station. Anyone know the cheapest and best places to park nr the station on a Saturday?

Just go to the drop off point round the eastern side of the station. You get about 20 minutes free parking.

Do you know how much it is to park at the station itself (for about an hour and a half) ?
Its 40, but if you're going to be there for a few hours you've got no chance unless you pay or fancy a 15-20 minute walk.

Park outside HB&B's house. He's slap bang in the centre of Brighton.

about 5 minute walk i think .....put it in on route finder....its about 50 per hour as run by council......all the ncps are loads more......

If you wait until after 7pm to leave London Road carpark it becomes free as they lock up the pay machines and raise one of the barriers at the entrance and exit. You can surely find something to do for a couple of hours after the game on Saturday and then you've got a whole days parking for nowt.

If you need to go into central Brighton for a couple of hours before the game, why not use the Shoppers' Park & Ride service? Park at Withdean, catch the bus into town, enjoy your couple of hours, return on the bus.
It's cheaper than city centre parking.

As from this week they are going to have an attendant until 10pm (or 11pm) so it won't be free after 7pm.
My hubby is doing a BSL course at church and used to use that car park free of charge. Now he is going to park further out towards Preston Park and walk in.
And if you buy something from Richer Sounds they will pay your parking for you......
Meaning a 20 minute stop could cost him HUNDREDS of pounds
