Cheap international couriers

I need to get a large and heavy item (80cmx80cmx30cm box or so, 15kg) from Havant, Portsmouth to Dublin. Speed doesn't matter a crap.

The theorethical return journey by An Post would be 35 euros, but the cheapest I can find from the UK is 65 pounds by UPS.

Anyone know any cheaper couriers/services that carry to Ireland?

We would send that by Citilink, and it would cost £35 for a two day service*, though these would be contract rates as we send about 500 parcels a year with them.

*this means they 'attempt' to deliver in 2 days, but normally take about 4!

Prices to Dublin are stupid money for some reason. A company I used to work in the past used to fly someone over to Dublin from Gatwick and back on Ryanair every day just to courier letters and stuff from London to the Dublin office. It was cheaper to do that than send the stuff by courier!

Dont go by the weight because it will cube out anyway so you would normally have to pay for the size
