Sorry to be simplistic but one compound word will suffice for this game (home-end).

During the Poyet years, couldn't get a ticket for the away end (the majestic 4-0 game) but sat in their main stand to the left of the away fans. Actually sat amongst a coach load of kids and parents from a Crowborough school who were supporting Brighton that day.

Now I realise the magnitude of this game is slightly more significant than the game from 4 years ago, but of all the London grounds, Charlton has got to be one of the 'safer' ones to go in the home area for.

Not ideal I know, but it's not like taking your life in your hands for example by sitting at the New Den with the home fans.

I think those blocks in the main stand next to the away end rarely have anyone in there anyway. I'm going in there if I don't get a ticket from the Albion.

They appear to have not remembered to put them on sale at 9am!

Getting worried about tickets for next season (should we be promoted) now! I used to go to most away games but not possible now, with a family. I imagine in the prem with generally circa 2,000 away capacities it would be mostly away season ticket holders who get to go away?

Hadn't considered that but with a £30 cap on aesy tickets an away season ticket at £570 becomes a more viable option and ensures tickets at the attractive away games as opposed to only being able to pick one up for Swansea away midweek

I thought platinum membership = away season ticket therefore you didn't need to buy tickets?!

They scrapped that after the first season as they weren't allowed to store credit card details. Now you get to buy them a day earlier with no booking fee.
