Brezovan 6, not that much to do really
Elphick 7 Thought he was fairly solid & passing not as crap as normal in the main
El Abd 7 solid enough
Calderon 7 entertaining as usual, great finish to score
Painter 6 not sure he was as convincing as the other defenders but maybe had to deal with Charlton's main threat
Dicker 7
Navarro 7
Bennett 7
Crofts 7
Lua Lua 8
Forster 6

Thought Holroyd was excellent when he came on, dId exactly what Poyet must have asked him to do. Hart barely touched the ball.

Could you just make some up?

Brezovan - 6 - Very, very, very tall but marked down for some moment of insanity
Calderon - 8 - Good goal but beard was a bit too well shorn for full flair ranking
Elphick - 6 - Because you're not allowed to give him credit.... EVER :wrong:
El Abd - 6 - See above
Painter - 7 - Looks like John Terry (apparently)
Crofts - 2 - Anonymous as usual (one for TCB there)
Navarro - 9 - The best player on the pitch again. See, I was right as usual (one for WW)
Dicker - 8 - Nice hair
Lua Lua - 6 - Great pace but no end product
Bennett - 10 - MOM - scored from 45 yards
Forster - 6 - Strayed offside too often and argued with the ref too much

Hart - 0 - Old and useless
Holyroyd - 6 - Ran about a bit

Charlton's keeper: 9. Quite splendidly allowed Bennett's not-quite-rocket-powered shot from distance to beat him in the bottom corner, thus clinching the game.

Brezovan not much to do? You sure about that?

He took the pressure of our defence by coming for crosses something Kuipers doesn't do.

Just seen our first goal and it was a lucky deflection.

D'Urso 2

Bottled out of the BIG decisions!!

Not sure what you mean. The radio team thought he had a good game unlike the ref at Leeds.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Big deflection for the first goal.

The linesman to the left of the away end really cocked up one call. Holroyd was miles on side and would have been clear to (possibly) make it 3-0.

Our midfield were the key. They were backing each other, running themselves into the ground, playing short and quick passes. Took pressure off the defence and held it up well for Forster.

I think we were slightly lucky to not concede before the 90+3, but we did a decent job of blunting their attacks overall.

Brez - 6.5. Did well overall but his mistakes cost us a goal in almost every game he plays in
Calderon - 8 solid, good going forward, lovely finish, best right back for years
Painter - 6 - solid no frills display
Elf and El Abd - 7.5 - dominant performances

Dicker - 8 - should be first name on team sheet
Crofts - 8 - probably ran two marathons this evening. Great skipper's performance
Navarro - 8 - another intelligent display

Bennett - 8 - had a storming 2nd half capped with a beautiful shot into the bottom corner
LuaLua - 8 - Charlton couldn't handle him. Looks a real prospect

Forster - 7 - did well on his own up front without really looking like scoring.

I did with a Charlton supporting friend. I was sitting in the home end to the right of the away fans.

The away fans were excellent and I would imagine that they filled at least 70% of the stand.
You picked a corker of a match then.It must be years ago when we last beat them on there own patch.

I don't know enough about football to give acurate ratings but D'urso didn't have too bad a game, the lino to the right of the away had a shocker though.

Edit. I meant to the left of the away end.
