When the trains leave Cannon Street, Charing Cross and Waterloo East which station do they go through on their way to Charlton?!
Ill give you a clue it is in the London Bridge area!
That's tantamount to dissing the wonderful pub! There certainly weren't any problems getting served on that Friday evening last year when we played Millwall.

Yeah so the planks wank about being able to get an average at best drink that they can get every day of the year in the county that theyve travelled from!
I'm not disagreeing with any of that. Just your assertion that The Market Porter is a crap hole, when it blatently isn't - every bit as pretentious as the plums talking like it's the only pub in London.
My favourite London Bridge is The Mudlark, personally.

Fair point.
Actually it serves a purpose as it keeps all the clowns in one place whenever theres a London game leaving the rest of us to enjoy the remaining pubs in the capital.
Never been in The Mudlark which is surprising as I worked on Southwar Street for two and half years and used most of the hostelries in the locality.
The toilets in The Market Porter do smell though!
I "work" in the Cottons Centre right opposite LB, on Tooley St. The Mudlark is top drawer, and well worth a visit on the 16th, IMO.

I know the Cottons Centre. Went for a job in there myself once back in about 2004, for the Standards Board. Got a mate who works in there now for Southwark Council. I did a bit of work just up the road at No1 London Bridge as well.

Market Porter is an excellent pub. It keeps everyone who thinks its the only Pub at London Bridge away from all the other decent pubs.
Anyone interested in trying proper ale should walk two seconds around the corner and sample The Wheatsheaf.

Perfectly correct. Although with this option, you simply stay on the train as it goes through LB.
