I watched that from start to finish and I thought it was very good. He makes a good case. Shame it doesn't run long enough to see the Q&A afterward. Would like to see that. But yes, he is a much misunderstood man.
That is quite upsetting. He explains himself well. He's completely stuffed, though. In a much more parochial context (my work, which is academic, literally as well as metaphorically), my experience is, if you have something to say that nobody wants to hear, one false move and the 'establishment' comes down like a ton of bricks. I'm a lot more careful with my words and deeds than he's been, but even so, sometimes you just can't win. Nice to see he's working with Quillian now. Sadly, in his case, going gently to build concensus may be too hard, and I would imagine the anger and frustration may spill over with very adverse consequences for him. That's a pity.
