Would love it if it happened, but although he'll be off in January, I cant see him coming here.

I can see a club like Reading, Saints or QPR taking a chance in the Prem League. It makes sense for them as if he can cut it in the PL and scores the goals to keep that club up, then great for both. If he cant score enough goals (or they simply let in more), then if they go down then they have a ready made striker who can goals in the Champ.

Brighton will be outbid both in fee and wages. Although if he went to Saints that might mean Lambert sacrificed or if QPR Zamora? Now thats a thought.

if that chain of events takes place then surely Ricky Lambert is the best option..........sir bob is just about done i reckon.

I could never understand why we didn't go or him when he was available for a much cheaper price. He was always a gamble worth taking.
