They cannot play him can they? He is not in their 25 man squad, and cannot be added in until January.

I thought the 25 man squad gets reset in January, hence Glenn Murray can be added to Palace's squad at this time?

Difficult one, has got better and better during his loan spell but if Buckley and Kaz are both fit with March waiting in the wings maybe Oscar will use the resources elsewhere.

I'd certainly be glad to see him back as long as he can hit the ground running on his present form.

The most frustrating thing about this 93 day loan is that if he did come back on 1st January (on loan or permanent) he would not have played for about 3 weeks meaning he would have lost alot of 'match fitness' and may need a few games to get back to the high intensity of the Championship.

On the positive side of the coin, he seems to be subtantially less injury prone than Will Buckley or KLL (not difficult) and may not take as long as might be expected or pick up an injury.

Other teams will be after him to take as a loan deal for sure.

I wasn't convinced he was worth a place in the team early on but has steadily improved almost game by game.

Would have thought a new loan agreement until the end of the season is pretty likely.

Hardly. Amazing how people's views have differed on this bloke. Every time I've seen him I've been favourably impressed, and he's got better over time as he's settled into the team. Even at QPR, which was I think about his first match, he was instrumental in helping us get the draw in a tough match

Your joking right?, he was absolutely toilet at QPR.

Interesting, thanks.

I'd expect Cardiff, who have gone off the boil, to consider playing an in form winger who can deliver crosses between when he goes back and 01 January. We'll see I guess. Has he actually had a run out in the Premier League?

I'd love to see him back, I think I prefer him to the stop and start contributions, due to seemingly permanent niggly injuries, of KLL and Buckley.

I might be wrong on this, but I think that as he hasn't made their 25-man squad, they can't include him in it. If this is the case, then factor in that his contract runs out in June, Cardiff will be looking to shift him on to take his wages off their balance sheet.

The 25 man squad can be adjusted next month , how else will players brought during the transfer window play ?

I read that Noone only had his premier league debut this week. Possibility that Conway may be considered a better option in January for them than Noone if he is not that highly rated by Mackay.

Nathan Jones has said we hope to get him back and he has said he wants to come. My guess is a loan to commence 2nd Jan (assume that is when the window opens) with a permanent free transfer signing confirmed before the end of January on an 18 month deal.

Was he? I don't think he did a bad job at all at Loftus Road considering he'd only joined the day before. He was solid enough in a very defensive set-up. 'Toilet' is far from how it really was that night. I'm a Conway fan, and I'd have him in the side over LuaLua all day long. He brings so much more to the team.

Conway has definitely got better over time and is really starting to have a consistent impact in the last 2 or 3 games. Up until that point he was certainly struggling and a further loan was the last thing I would have wanted. He has steadily built up an understanding with Ward and his confidence and fitness are certainly on the up. If he could just sort out his crossing accuracy he'd be a real asset in the second half of the season for us.

I've not seen enough from him yet to suggest he'd make the step up to the Premier League so I can't see him making Cardiff's 25 man squad at the moment so a loan to a Championship team is the best he is going to get for the rest of the season.

Agree with this. Didnt rate him at all to start with as looked slow and off the pace of the game. Has really come on and is now a real asset. Don't think he is a premier league player but a top championship consistant winger who could stay injury free , can play both wings is a no brainer for us with Lua / Buckley /Orlandi injury records.

Sign him up

Hear what you are saying about Buckers and Kaz but even if they are fit on 1 Jan, they will both probably have a further 3 injury periods MINIMUM.

FWIW I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Leicester came sniffing.........
