If it’s Brentford we can look forward to probably shipping 4 goals up there however well we are doing :lolol:

This is my fear. I don’t think I can face another drubbing up there. Maybe the new ground will be kinder to us, though.

Barnsley or the Bees for me, though.

I would imagine Barnsley have the lowest budget by far of the 4 teams and promotion for them would be nothing short of miraculous, so it's good luck to the Tykes .

Definitely. Swansea will be close next season in terms of budget as this is their last season with parachute payments, but Barnsley got one of the lowest player budgets in the Championship. Would be fantastic if they made it. Think they would be absolutely slaugthered in the PL but thats a different story.

Brentford and Barnsley to progress to the final. Really don’t want fecking Bournemouth to yo-yo back up, and am ambivalent about Swansea.

Thereafter, have mixed feelings.

Heart says Brentford deserve it, after repeatedly coming so close recently.

But head says Barnsley would likely find PL survival the hardest, so for the Albion’s sake would be preferable.

In fact it was just the two years on the bounce in 2002 and 2003, it’s just that I was at both those games!

5-4 we’re gonna win 5-4 chant was the only highlight :lolol:

I was also at the horror show earlier game where a defender whose name escapes me GIFTED them 2 goals in the first few mins.

Anyone but Plucky for me. Ideally Barnsley as they are likely to struggle next season due to budget etc. However, I feel Brentford will finally break their playoff misery

From a purely pragmatic view you have to back Barnsley. Unlike the other 3 clubs I doubt whether they would have done any budgeting for Premier League football in 2021/22, so the play-off route and having 10 or 11 weeks to get a Prem squad together would surely condemn them to instant relegation.

I don't see Swansea as particularly strong either, whereas Brentford and Bournemouth might be capable of surviving their first Prem season.

The team I like the most is Brentford, but I think with their manager, ground, sound financial position and Ivan Toney they represent a threat to the Albion next season.

Who doesn't enjoy a pound of tripe from the butchers in Barnsley, so it's Brentford for me (new ground)

Glen Thomas! The worst individual performance I’ve ever seen by a Brighton player.

Yes, but Barnsley's owners are eye-wateringly rich so I'm supporting Swansea this year.

I'd go along with that.

The bloke looked genuinely crestfallen coming off at half time to be fair, so I can't dislike the fella. He was just bad
