Daniel Levy is excellent in terms of getting his price for a player, but this hard bargaining always comes at a cost. You spend when you are in a position of strengthen but he hasn't done that - maybe because of the financing of the stadium curbed any urge to splash out - and he's got a team of ageing players winding down their contracts and a bunch of kids with huge pressure on their shoulders to continue to deliver Champions League and reach semi finals of cups.

I agree. But sadly I had that feeling before the Chelsea game as well.

Hmmm....my hope is that the rumours that the squad are oll over the place, a bit like the Nottingham Forest boys ten years ago (constantly on the piss, shagging each others' missus, having fist fights, etc) is true. An early Albion goal could have them in a hissy-fitting meltdown. Pretty please.
