It looks like you can watch it without the headset as long as you have a smartphone that supports 360 cameras.

Though I'd warn that the quality of the feed won't be great generally as 360 cameras are at a far lower resolution than standard cameras, and unless you have a good connection buffering issues are going to be horrific.

What's wrong with just watching it normally? Don't get all this putting on special glasses and headsets to watch a bit of telly.

If I remember I will probably install the app and watch 5-10 minutes of it like that. Why? Because I find it a bit interesting to see what the fuss is about

However, other than 'just to see' I completely agree with your view point. There may be some that can;t get there and want to experience it, but its all a bit of a gimmick in my opinion and nothing will ever match genuinely being at a game. And, if watching it on the tv I would rather have the atmosphere of a pub/friends at home rather than a bit of kit/cardboard strapped to my head!

Recently tried the HTC VR set and it was mind-blowing. I'm probably going to wait another year until I buy one though.

As someone who has just discovered the delights of VR porn (it's awesome by the way) I probably won't be watching as I'll likely be in hospital having my cock mended! :lolol:

I get the glasses hassle element and perhaps they will conquer that in the future, but to dismiss new tech is a bit of a shame I think. People probably felt (and some probably still do) that there's no point in HD.

Not experienced it yet but lots saying its mind blowing so looking forward to giving it a try at least

I'll be giving it a go on GearVR. We make VR content for training at work and it's a fantastic medium.

Don't confuse it with 3DTV, totally different experience. But then I would say that...

Watching the game in VR now. Enjoyable new experience and done well by BT but the quality is poor. Needs to be HD to be much better.

Picture kept freezing. Changed Camera angle, worked for 30 secs, froze again.
Gave up. Shame, looked good when it worked.
