Brilliant from Leverkusen. Wish we could have played there. Maybe one day we will.

Oh and the Roma bench are kicking off because they’re whiny bad losers.

Grief I’m going to have to mute the sound …this commentary duo 🤦‍♂️

One of them kept banging on, mid match, about Villa’s CL income and great prospects for next season. WTF.

Peter Brackley, Gerald Sinstadt, Peter Jones simply used to describe the spectacle in front of them. Brilliantly.

With Villa out of the conference league, it sets up a great final between Fiorentina and Olympiacos. Certainly worth a watch 📺

Roma almost pulled off a huge shock. It shows that Brighton was unlucky to draw maybe the 2nd best team in the competition early on.
I think we were a bit complacent about how good they were in European competition in the 1st leg away from home.

RDZ got into a cock-swinging contest with De Rossi. Suicidal tactics in Rome. Love our manager but he got that VERY wrong.

Atalanta v Leverkusen is a brilliant final!

Going to go against the grain here and want an Atalanta win. Great club who play lovely football with a brilliant manager who has worked wonders there over the last eight years. Sorry Roberto.
I’ve admittedly never seen a full Atalanta game, but I’ve been regularly watching their highlights over the last few years and looking out for their results as I like to see outsiders do well and they have played some superb attacking football and scored a lot of goals especially for a team that isn’t even part of the big 6 in Italy. It gives hope for clubs like us that you can sustain regularly finishing in the top 6 in one of the big 5 European leagues without having the biggest budgets.

Well, I shall be having a little word with the villa supporters at work this am. A simple "you're not as good as you think you are" will suffice🙂
Which is unfortunate as they have to go to Selhurst for the last game of the season.
