I would rather have no representatives than cheats and have no interest in our `Plastic` selections who have not acheived a qualifying time for their country of birth.

There are lots of countries at the Olympics, and just EIGHT lanes on the 100m track. Why would you EXPECT us to have an athlete make it?

I'm not going to get bogged down in this again.

What I will ask is:-
How many of the other events can we expect to see a Team GB vest in one of the 8 lanes, at the Olympic final?
50%? more or less?

Once again I don't know and I'm not intentionally being an arse.

For me to not have a creditable representative, for nearly a generation, in the blue ribbon event, of a heavily funded sport, at our home Olympics, is shocking.
At which point the fellows pointed me to some of the reasons why this is the case.
