[Albion] Central Brighton Pub Function Rooms

Brighton & Hove Albion Supporters Club hold monthly social evenings for members and last season we took these meetings out round the county, to Falmer, Burgess Hill, Worthing and Lancing.
We had interesting evenings with Darren Balkham, Gary Willard (RIP), Inigo Calderon, Howard Webb, Johnny Cantor and Warren Aspinall, Paul Camillin and Albion Board member Paul Mullen.

However, for the 2024/25 season we would really like to find a venue in central Brighton. Also one in Lewes.

The criteria we're looking for are (not necessarily is this order)
a) near public transport
b) near parking
c) decent real ale
d) good choice of real ale
e) room to accommodate up to 50 people
f) easy access for all
g) inexpensive

The Abyss taproom in Lewes might be an option as they have a large space in there that can be sectioned off.

Maybe Lewes FC hire out the bar area on non match days.
