I did think 11:89 was a bit excessive.

Hail Hail, The Celts are here,
What the hell do we care,
What the hell do we care,
Hail Hail, The Celts are here,
What the hell do we care now ...

For its a Grand Old Team to play for,
For its a Grand Old team to see,
And if you know the history,
Its enough to make your heart go,
Nine-in-a-row.

We don't care what the animals say,
What the hell do we care,
For its all we know,
Is that there going to be a show,
And the Glasgow Celtic will be there.

Why would this be?

Fantastic club and support imo.

Yes, being unable to hold a minutes silence for rememberence Sunday does show what a great support they are, I bet, if anything, they hold a minutes applause to mask the booing.

Its a passionate club, whose passions are about Ireland and cannot stand anything British

The glorification of the IRA still rings around Celtic Park.

That is not a great support and I would classify the majority (yes majority, not minority but majority) as scum

That's way too simplistic. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong with them having a passion for their Irish roots. That doesn't make them scum. There are plenty of people (Celtic fans or otherwise) who have both Irish and British blood in them and I wouldn't mind betting that covers the majority of STHs at Celtic park, frankly.

However, there is certainly bigotry in their support, but it isn't across the whole club. The worst example of this are the people in that corner who sing pro-IRA songs whilst moaning about the club printing a poppy on their shirt, and what equally irritates me is that the rest of their support like to paint a picture that these people barely exist - but I'd hardly call them "scum" for that, as it's no worse a crime than people not shopping random dickheads in the crowd at an Albion game.

No, there is nothing wrong with them celebrating their Irish roots, just like Hibernian do.

But they actively detest the british, they wave the tricolour and parade their Irish nationality in Scotland. Which is fine, do that by all means, just don't play this "love me love me" card when it suits, only to spit on the grave of those that have fought and died.

As for this "corner" , its a much larger element than that.

The worst bit is, these Irish nationalists, are usually Glasgow born inbreds out to cause trouble.

This is all I will say on the matter, as I could go on and on...

But from this you can gather, I just don't agree with them :lolol:

Did you know Celtic Park was shut down during WWII for pro Germany chanting? This is while some of their players were off fighting in the war.

It's in the foundations of the club.

This is my last word. Promise

Someone won just under £190k off an £11 bet, correctly predicting the scores in the Chelsea, United, Valencia and Benfica. Until stoppage time it wasn't coming in and then BANG goals in the United and Chelsea games to win him the money
