While mates at the time got in to U2, a few of us were in the Echo and the Bunnymen camp.
I loved The Bunnymen too, went to that Jan 83 gig at Brighton Dome.
Both these formed a large part of the soundtrack of my mid-late teens. You would be hard pushed to find a better output than the first 4-5 albums from each - especially if you combined them with what Joy Division / New Order were also putting out. WFH has given me a great chance to listen to these again. Take off Ocean Rain, put on October, replace it with Power, Corruption & Lies, and then Heaven Up Here. Powerful stuff.
