Despite the poor forecast for today as a whole it does generally seem to improve throughout the day as below:

- dry this morning
- potential for heavy thundery rain early afternoon
- clear from 4pm onwards

Given the outfield is dry after the recent good weather, there is every prospect of play this evening though a risk of a delayed start.

There is currently a light shower in Hove however the forecast is still predicting it to be dry from 4.00pm, and we are expecting a full match this evening.

Off topic Surrey 97 for 7 against the Middlesex side we beat in 3 days.

Durham who could help us out agaisnt Notts not much better at 85 for 4.
