you really are quite tiresome at times. Nit picking people’s comments make you feel good does it?
Not really. Wasn't nit-picking. Just asking a straight question - who needs to eat at a football match?

You've failed to answer. Just substituted 'wants' for 'needs' and think that's some kind of triumphant rebuttal. It ain't. There is a difference between things you choose to do and things you have to do. You can choose to eat crap over-priced food at a football match; you don't have to.

I just want some tap water. They’ve finally put water fountains at the back of the east stand lower, but no plastic cups. I need to awkwardly skip the queue and ask for a single empty plastic cup or queue up for one.

I either do this dance every match day or don’t drink anything for 7 hours (commute is 2 hours each way) as we can’t bring our own bottles in. I usually get headaches.

The football is brilliant mind you.
They've been there for a couple of seasons. My go to, when we're roasting in the sun.

I have no need to Rebut you. Just bore off. As I say you’re just so tiresome.

Just coz YOU don’t decide to buy food at the Amex what gives you any right to criticise those who do.

In fact the world doesn’t all hinge on what you feel or think. Nuff said

All people HAVE to eat though. You are looking at it through your view where yes you could say people should eat before they leave home or could wait til after, but again thats your view. Given the match yesterday was arguably over most peoples lunch time, its fair to suggest people might expect to eat at the stadium. The Amex has catering and its a reasonalble view that a lunch time match will mean people will want to eat. Furthermore, there is also a level of quality I'd expect for a price.

Seeing the photo of the burger above along with its price is embarrassing. We are better than that, by a considerable margin. If I were in any position of management at the club, I'd be speaking with the outsourced catering supplier about their standards.

No pies 25 mins before KO in WSL, £4 for a cup a soup......although £2.80 for a Bovril which is basically hot water and a spoon of granules is really pushing the boundaries of what you can get away with.

After the match I went to the kiosk at the North end of the WSU concourse, I asked for a drink that was listed on the menu screen to be told that it’s not available at this kiosk only the middle one in the concourse.
- It wasn’t sold out at the kiosk I went to, they don’t sell all the items on the screen.

Is it that difficult with a digital screen to not display what they actually sell?

I went straight to the game from work hadn’t eaten all morning. All pies gone in WSU pre match. Managed to get the very last steak and ale pie at HT, which was lovely.

As a general response to the thread, anything other than the pies are a disgrace. I do think the pies are really good. I would never eat any of the other crap. Even the sausage rolls are drier than Gandhi’s flip flops.

Just far enough away from LDC
We knew it would be carnage yesterday and it didn't disappoint.

Man city did a survey at their stadium and worked out that of service was just 10 seconds quicker each order it would increase income by £10m per season. Given sodexo are I believe on a fixed contract that is their income they're hitting and also of local suppliers if they reduce orders

Yeah, City have their own way of working out financial matters😉. Not sure how a survey would give the answer
