It's not just the dogs, what about the cats?

I'm getting really fed up with the fact that I am constantly finding piles of cat shit in my back garden. I too have young kids and the last thing I expect is for them to be unable to play in their own garden because some cat has decided to take a dump there. Often it's not just one lot, there are often 3 or 4 piles of crap top deal with. :censored::censored::censored:

But what can I do, I don't suppose I'm allowed to shoot every cat that comes into my garden. Surely there must be some way of forcing cat owners to make sure their cats don't crap in my garden or have I just got to put up with it?

i took one out of circulation. it had fallen into a trap and was dead when i found it.

but yes, shoot em. our neighbours are not near enough for their (if they have any) cat to be in my garden but i would not think twice about boxing the bugger up, driving it many many miles away (maybe to leeds for a home game) and releasing the pest.

we have some mousers but they dont move enough to catch any mice nevermind crap over my or anyone elses garden

You could try asking the owner if they could do/suggest something?
or you could prove how and hard and tough you are and take your small-dickness out on a small creature?
One of the two

i dont even know the owner, i would have returned the dead cat to its owner but it had no collar or tag so i couldn't.

if it dies in a trap on my land then it dies. the trap is not there to snare a cat, it just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Our next door neighbours concreted over their garden 6 months ago so their cats shit in our garden.

That is why we have purchased blue slate and an alarm type thingy is arriving soon that moves them on.

I have a cat and she shits over next doors garden but at least has the decency to dig a hole to shit in and then cover it over after she's had her dump.

But you must have set the trap, right??

What was you expecting to fall into it??

If I found out you had killed my cat, i'd come round and leave a little present of my very own for you to clean up

I'm sorry but if you leave a trap in your garden that is lethal to roaming animals, then it's not exclusively for foxes is it??

A cat is in fact twice as likely to wander into trouble.

What exactly is the problem with foxes anyway?? They are hardly going to break into the house are they??

the traps are not in my garden, mrs starry wouldnt allow that incase a daughter got maimed.

i have had traps out for a long time, but only one cat ever been trapped and probably upwards of 150 foxes so not sure about the twice as likely to wander into trouble.

the foxes kill my livestock so we kill them. circle of life, oldage, ill health, pistol, hound or trap. everyone meets their maker one day.
