Even though Brezovan is contracted until end of June 2013 he can still be put on the transfer list or advised to look for another club. I think Ankergren will be in goal next week at Barnsley for his farewell appearance as both clubs play out a 0-0 end of season friendly.

No - Got to look to the future - we all know what both Brez and Ankers can do - Have another look at Gonzo - one of the three to be retained as cover and sign a capable keeper for next season

has to be this, Gus wants to have a look at Gonzo and knows what the other two can/can't do

Brez played every game from Jan 2nd to April 14th, in which time we went from possible relegation contenders to very realistic play-off hopefuls.

The defence seemed to have confidence in him. His distribution was just how Gus likes it from a keeper. He was extremely brave at times but erratic at others. And prone to the odd error. Who isn't ?

A Championship keeper who doesn't make mistakes, is Premier League keeper.

He is also a bloody nice bloke.

I agree, he isn't a brilliant keeper, he is the best we have. But he was excellent for the entirety of January and was key in our excellent unbeaten run.

Also have met him a few times in the sainsburys I used to work in and he is a top bloke.

I dont think thats right, I read somewhere that 4 keepers contracts end this season (gonzalez, Brez, Casper & Walker)

Well you know what Brez seems to think it is. And I reckon he might just have more of a clue than you.

Lets keep Brez as back up and get someone top notch, this is where we should be spending the most of our transfer kitty IMO (if we have one).
