The other day I was in the queue at the ATM behind a fairly normal looking woman.

However she can't have been normal because she only took a TENNER out of the cash point. What's the point of that? I thought only WHACKY stewdents and dog on a string SCROUNGING types did that.

But seriously, does any one else on here take out a tenner at a time from the cashpoint. Personally I take £50 nearly every time I visit. What about YOU?

Ooooooooh listen to MONEYBAGS right here.

Maybe she finds it easier to manage her finances if she only takes out as much as she needs?

Maybe being a woman she doesn't like carrying a lot of cash as she thinks she could get mugged.

I take tenners out a lot. Mainly because I pay for most stuff on card but always like to have a bit of cash on my hip. It's a lot safer and if you lose your wallet or it gets swiped you have (if they don't spend your cards straight away) only lost a small amount of cash.

I'd be more bothered about the potential security risks of constantly going to ATMs to get tenners out than I would of being mugged.

Typical Woman ! Actually good point well made, even better as it's from a Mac user :lolol:

No DIMSTER. That is the definition of a NORMAL bird. That and also paying for all items on their cards NO MATTER HOW INEXPENSIVE, AND HOW LONG THE QUEUE.

HK$900 or 1900. If you request 1000 or 2000 they will give it to you in 1000 notes (75 quid) which annoys the taxi drivers when the fare is less that 2 quid..

Now that's what I really don't understand. Why do people (OK, sometimes it's wimmin) put items worth way less than a fiver - sometimes less than a couple of quid - on their cards?
