Yes, but I don't like places ( particularly pubs ) that don't accept it.Cash is unhygienic. I carry a fiver with me but can use my phone as well as a card.

We still get loads of envelopes enclosing cheques for £10/15/20 - it seems unfair to tell these old ladies about how their subscriptions are propping up the Banks...

A fair few unhappy people complaining in the replies when Leicester Racecourse announced they are moving away from taking cash.
change can be tricky.
Aldi round here is a pest as you have to put a 10p coin in their trollies to release them.
I'm surprised at the people who say they never use cash. Don't they ever have to pop out for a pint of milk? Don't they ever use libraries? Don't they ever give Christmas tips? Don't they use taxis? Don't they use window cleaners? Don't they ever play pool in pubs? I'd say 90% of my transactions are by card but it would be a rare month when I didn't use cash for something?
Only really use cash in my fish and chip shop on fridays, although both my chinese and indian prefer cashDon’t play pool in pubs these days but apart from that all of the other things I do but all through my phone by either banking transfers or contactless payments.
Really? I’m intrigued, pray, do tell.
